JPK 39 FC, beginning of construction

Our new JPK 39 FC, is now under construction. It is happening in Larmor Plage at JPK Composites. Jean Pierre Kelbert posts us some pictures every now and then. We haven’t been able to visit the construction yet, but this will come soon.

Building a JPK 39 FC, how does it go?

It has been a long journey to come this far. Waiting and checking the options and other features, this took the longest. But now time is ‘planing’.

Below you see some important steps of the first construction stage. This is the infusion stage.

On the first picture you see the empty hull mold, with just the gel-coat sprayd in.
On the second picture they are ‘dry building’ the composite structure, before preparing the vacuum infusion.
The third picture shows a vacuum infused deck, curing and almost ready for unwrapping.

Exciting times. We keep you posted. She will probably be launched in June.
